I have wondered frequently on what it means to be a person. A human being, with the myriad of our abilities at our disposal. How often do we employ our emotions in a correct manner? Is there a correct one? I find that having good control over your emotional state and understanding emotions themselves a good lesson in leadership development. A leader that can remain cool headed and use his emotions as a valuable mechanism to help him analyze problems is a leader that I would want leading my teams. I have seen far too many managers at our company who fall victim to their personal pride and anger, making poor decision after poor decision because they are not able to recognize that they are serving the company, the workers do not serve them as an individual. There are many different reasons to shop around but the major point being that you can save a lot of money over a year’s time that most businesses could use right now.

I had not taken the time to look into this until it was too late. I actually ended up getting stuck in a contract that I could not get out of unless I was to pay a large amount of money. I knew that it was not worth the expense to get out of the contract, but when that contract is up, I will be changing my carrier.

Since I learned this lesson the hard way, I have started shopping around for everything at all times. I do not even buy printer ink before I shop around for the best price. I had just bought a new computer for nearly half as much as what it was listed on the first site that I found it on. I just took the model number and searched until I found the price that I was willing to pay for it.

It is amazing how much money you can save on things like computers and utilities if you take the time to shop around. I have to stop and think about how much money I have wasted over the years by not shopping around prior to making big purchases or decisions about other things that cost money.

I am considering buying a new car, but I will shop around for several months before I buy one. I know that I will save a lot of money from here on out now that I know to compare prices prior to purchasing anything.

The company I work at was experiencing low morale from us staff members, and upper manager was well aware of this. The economy was bad, and we knew that while our jobs were secure for the present time, that may not always be the case. The company decided to help alleviate some of our fears by addressing them. Since they were not aware of everything we were discouraged or disappointed in, they decided to do a staff survey so they could address every single problem, regardless of how big or little it may seem to us.
